This paper examines private employment agencies and temporary agency work in a country having ratified the Private Employment Agencies Convention, 1997 (No. 181), Morocco. In 2011, Morocco was the largest market in North Africa for employment agencies, with an estimated 1,200 agencies. Leading agencies have expressed concern about youth employment, and their commitment to actively work on the issue.
